What happens if my daughter gets written up on the bus?
School has been in session for about a month and a half already. Yesterday, my daughter's bus driver called me over to the bus and said, “She was being loud and pushing the other kids’ buttons! If I have to talk to her again, I’m writing her up!” My daughter is in kindergarten, and her bus driver has never spoken to me before.
I’m wondering why the driver waited until it nearly came to writing my daughter up before informing me of a problem. I have read that getting written up could result in a suspension from the bus. Is that true? Since my daughter is in kindergarten and I have never received a complaint before, I feel that if there had been an ongoing issue, the driver should have communicated it to me sooner. How am I supposed to know how she behaves on the bus without any communication? Additionally, the phrase “pushing the other kids’ buttons” seems quite vague. I realize I should have asked for more details at the time, but it didn’t occur to me.

Talk to the bus driver.
The bus driver is there to do one thing, drive the bus. They can’t do that if there is a child getting out of hand. This is why the trouble child gets removed from the bus.
There is no way to have better communication because the driver is to drive the bus. Feel free to talk to the driver, but it isn’t their job to control your child. They are there to drive the bus.
You need to talk to your daughter and let her know this. There isn’t a teacher around, she needs to behave, and if she doesn’t then she will get into serious trouble, with the school and with you.
If she gets written up she will be suspended from the bus. She better get her act together because I have bus patrol experience and this is clearly punishable bad behaviour. You should be strict and punish her for her misbehaving.
You can talk to the bus driver and ask her to tell you whenever it happens. Then you will be able to address it before it escalates, and you’ll know what’s going on.

That’s her first warning. If she keeps getting more she can’t attend school incentives or get kicked off the bus
Yes, she can be suspended from the bus if she continues to misbehave. How about worrying about addressing it with her and correcting the issue instead of focusing on making it happen again?
