Are audio CDs region locked?
I have a question regarding the compatibility of audio CDs across different regions. If I were to order a music CD from Japan, would I be able to play it on my computer in North America? Are there any region restrictions I should be aware of when it comes to audio CDs?

No.
Under the Red Book Standard (laid down in 1982), any music CD, made anywhere in the world, must play in any CD player, anywhere in the world.
