(b) Use the average value of v2kin to determine the height h1 through which the ball falls.?

A group of students conducted a "Conservation of Mechanical Energy" experiment similar to the one you performed in the lab. However, instead of maintaining the horizontal portion of the ramp at a constant height ( h_2 ) from the tabletop, they varied this height while releasing the ball from the same height ( h_1 ) each time. They recorded their results in the first two columns of the table shown in part (a). (a) Complete the table below. The completed table successfully shows an average ( v_{2kin} ) of approximately 264 cm. (b) Using the average value of ( v_{2kin} ), determine the height ( h_1 ) from which the ball falls.

You said: "Avg V2 about 264 cm". What is V2 ? - presumably a distance, as it is measred in cm - but what distance?????

You haven't fully explained the question so it's hard to understand. That's probably why you have no answers.
