Can you eat Jellyfish?

Have you ever considered eating jellyfish? If so, is it safe, or could it pose serious health risks? Are there any recipes available for cooking jellyfish that I should be aware of?

Season with vinegar, salt and sugar. Serve

Sesame Jellyfish Recipe

Yes

Only certain jellyfish, but julianned, blanched, and vinegard jellyfish has been eaten in Japan for years.

I don’t suggest you go to a beach, catch just any jellyfish and do it though.

You can buy them at a large Asian market sometimes….

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular “fad” diets out there. Go here https://biturl.im/aU4qi

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it’s just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it’s a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Yes you can eat jelly fish,

Catostylus mosaicus (Scyphozoa, Rhizostomeae). is the edible type.

However, jellyfish is served as a cuisine in Japanese and Chinese culture.

Not sure if its the same species, I guess they are like Puffers.

Cut the wrong part and its deadly poinous.

I like jellyfish. As an appetizer, it is pretty good. It is prepared

like the recipe says. I eat it with seaweed that is has a dressing

or marinade on it. ( Maybe for some, the texture is not to one’s

taste. I like to eat chewy texture of jellyfish as long as it has some

flavor. )

jellyfish is eaten in Japan at some sushi restaurants.

I’ve seen it , but I’m not too keen on trying it.

I’ve actually eaten jellyfish. It is actually pretty much tasteless and it needs to be spiced up with something (kind of like Tofu). I didn’t like it because I don’t like the texture of it, but it doesn’t actually taste bad itself.
