Does the USPS mail man come twice in one day?
I am expecting a package that is small enough to fit in my mailbox, but I have already received my regular mail consisting of paper and envelopes. Does the USPS deliver packages separately from regular mail, and is it possible for them to come more than once in a single day?

No. They won't make a second trip by. Mail is delivered to their post office once in the morning, they pick it up, and deliver it. The only reason he'd ever come back by is if he realized he'd forgotten it and still had your package after he was through with his route.

Depending on where you live, especially in rural areas, mail can very often come twice a day. The post offices are small and there's only several mail men/women so to keep up with the flow of mail they deliver twice in one day. They can't let the mail pile up nor do they have room to store it.
One time in ohio, I got my mail and a few packages i was expecting from Amazon. Then, at like 5 or 6. Idk what time. but it was Dark out. the Mail man came again and dropped off two more packages. My Stepmom told me they come through twice. But I lived in a Rural area. They may of done things differantly. As it was delivered by the Mail mans personal vehicle. not a USPS Standard Carrier.
You get mail only once per day. If the package is small enough to leave in the mailbox and doesn't require a signature, your carrier will leave it in your mailbox. Your carrier should have all of your mail with him. There is no such thing as "special delivery" in the USA anymore, so there are no special delivery carriers.
You may get another delivery in the afternoon. Depends how your mail carrier delivers your mail. If they have a Vechicle most likely they would have delivered the package already along with your mail, however if they are pushing a cart then most likely you will have another mail person deliver your package later in the day.

Alot of times they will be hold your parcel at the post office for you to pick up. They'll usually put a slip in your mailbox informing you they have it. They usually hold it for about 30 days before sending back to the return address.

haha, your title question sounds like some kind of dirty joke. No, they deliver the mail on their routes once a day, unless its some kind of special delivery service you paid for.
