How long does it take to do laundry at a laundermat?

I know their machines are “super machines” and can wash more at one time but do they wash the clothes faster than your average house washing machine?

I think the cycles are about 30 minutes for a wash, 30 minutes for a dry of an average machine. If you are stepping away from the machine, check with the attendant (but I would bring something to read! and stay with my clothes)... Show More

Takes an hour and a half. If your bf or gf wants to “go washing” and takes more than that time. Sorry to tell you but they are lying to you. There are drop off laundry services that coat nearly the same as washing the clothes yourself. So he or she will claim to be at the laundromat when in fact they are somewhere else..... Show More

When we had sold one house and were waiting for the other one to be built, we lived in an apartment and had to do our laundry at the laundromat. It took us around two hours (sometimes one and a half) to do one week of laundry for four people. This included everything from loading the machines to folding the laundry.... Show More
