How many valence electrons does a conductor generally have?
How many valence electrons do conductors generally possess? Additionally, could you explain how these valence electrons contribute to the conductivity of the material?

for conductors generally have { 1, 2 or 3 } in their outer most shell.
for semi conductors exactly 4 electrons in their outer most shell.
for insulators {5, 6, 7} in their outer most shell , those of have 8 electrons in thier outer most shell called nobel gases has no any tendency for reaction , stable , has no excees electrones in their respective shell and require higher energy to isolate either of the electron from parent atom so can consider them as insulator .
The conductor exist less than 4 electron in their last orbit, Insulator exist more thant 4 election in their last orbit while semiconductor material have exactly 4 electron
