How much would a live flamingo cost?

I'm interested in researching the cost of a live flamingo for a project I'm working on. While I have no intention of purchasing one, I would appreciate it if you could provide an approximate price range. Thank you for your prompt response!

Although it's illegal to own one, they would be approximately $1000-1500 dollars. I am a bird saleswoman, and since they are larger, they would be more expensive.

I don't know if that will be an easy question to answer, as I don't believe they are legal for private citizens to own at this point. You could probably find out on some exotic animal 'black market' but that would be difficult to do. :/

Well if they were available to buy I would think they would be very expensive since they are a larger bird. I would say somewhere around $500-$1000, if it was legal that is...wich we all know its not...LOL just my opinion
