should adults drink pediasure?

Should an 18-year-old female, who is 5'5" tall and weighs 110 lbs, and is not malnourished, consider drinking Pediasure? She enjoys the taste and consumes it a few times a week. Are there any potential harmful effects associated with this practice?

Should an 18 yr old female, 5'5", 110 lbs who is not mal-nourished at all be drinking pediasure? She only drinks one a few times a week because she likes the way it tastes. Could this cause any harmful effects?

There will be no harmful affects. I actually have a friend who is 36 who likes to drink it for breakfast By it's very nature it is packed with nutrients and has a set amount of calories. Your friends sounds like she is an ok weight for her height and all. There should be no concerns. It is allot more healthy than drinking a milkshake.

um no, it actually has a lot of calcium, and is pretty good for you. it may seem a little wierd for you to be drinking it, though. old people usually drink it, because it helps their joints. and it definately can NOT have any negative effects.

good luck with your pediasure!!

If you read ingredients list there is almost no fiber in this product. Make note if you are someone with constipation issues or are an inactive senior with other health issues.

No, it's not going to hurt her at all - it's full of vitamins and minerals.

At 18, she would do better with Ensure.

this will not have any bad side effects, however you should look into other ones that are actually made for adults (as they would have better ingredients that would help her better, like 'boost', ect)
