Should I block OffSpon.Exe from Microsoft’s Office?

I recently purchased a new PC, and as is often the case, it came with trial versions of Microsoft programs. Specifically, it includes Microsoft Office Starter, which is free but contains ads. I have Comodo Firewall installed, which allows Word to function but seems to be blocking OffSpon.exe, likely related to Office's sponsorship of ads. If I choose to block OffSpon.exe in Comodo, will that cause any issues, or should I simply allow it to run?

If you are sure you are not going to MS office then it is ok to block it. In the future if you need it you can always go into your firewall setting and allow it.

I suspect you recently got this version of Word, say, about a month or two ago, at a ridiculously low price, possibly even free. If I’m right, you’ve been scammed. Instead of a copy of Word 2003, which Microsoft hasn’t produced for at least two years, when Office 2007 came out, you got a doctored trial copy — which was free back in 2003 or so — that just expired. Sorry.
