snorting vicodin, good idea?

Generally, snorting Vicodin is not very effective because the other main ingredient in Vicodin is acetaminophen, which is very harmful to your liver if taken in high doses, gets absorbed into your bloodstream rather than the Hydrocodine. My Recomendation is to crush up 15 mg vicodin and wash it down with some OJ or something. Than 20 min later, take another 5-10mg. You will have much desired results this way.

In other words, take one or two tablets by mouth every 6 hours as needed for pain. Snorting is obviously fun, and makes a person feel slightly badas s, but if you’re looking to alleviate the awful pain in your gums, taking it orally is the way to go!

What happens if I miss a dose?

Since acetaminophen and hydrocodone is taken as needed, you may not be on a dosing schedule. If you are taking the medication regularly, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not use extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

If you just want to relieve the pain and don’t want to get high, you should definitely take it orally. It lasts longer that way. Even though snorting it will make it feel stronger, it doesn’t last that long and isn’t quite as efficient. You’ll get more pain relief overall over a longer period taking them orally. If it doesn’t work well enough, maybe go back and tell them you’re still in pain and need something more.

If you finely grind it, then possibly you may get higher high thant taking it orally. For stomach acids may decrease its activity. However, when taken intranasaly, it may travel to your lungs, causing pulmonary edema, pulmonary hematoma, polio, pneumonia, and possible (permanent if youre lucky) paralysis of either your plural area, lungs, maybe extremities. If your plural space becomes paralysed, you will not be able to breathe, causing death, a painful and scary one. Paralysis of extremities may be sudden, causing you to fall down the stairs. Basically its not the best idea.

Depends on what you consider better results. If destroying your nose is something you consider as a better result, keep it up.

Take it the way that your doctor prescribed it!!! Snorting is never a good idea as it can damage the mucous membranes in your nose. Take the medicine as your doctor has instructed you to do.

always a great idea to snort stuff besides air. while you are at it try some drano. agree with other answers you obviously snort other drugs so you know the answer. you know having wisdom teeth out is not all that traumatic and painful. wait until you experience real pain and you will agree.
