Is smokin4free.com a scam site?

They are not scams completely they sell you cigarettes alright but there is a catch , I tried other online Marlboros , they were made in Russia and Philippines but looked exactly the same as Americans and they tasted awful , I mean absolutely awful . I paid $2.50 a pack and threw them in the trash after smoking a couple of cigs , Stay away .

NOT a scam. A friend bought them and I could not tell the difference (Marlboro 100’s) The writing was in Russian and it did not have the bumps that would make ours go out if just left in an ashtray. I quit shortly after trying hers but if I still smoked I would have bought them there. The only downside it you can expect them 20 days after ordering.

I just ordered 4 cartons and they charged my account twice. Now I have to wait for them to put $95.00 back into my account which they say takes 2 to 19 days. AND I am still waiting for the fourth carton as they apparently only ship three in one box.

It’s not a scam, the cigarettes are just made overseas so they taste different than you might be used to in the USA. They have great customer service, but it can take a while to get your package since it’s internationally shipped. The only "catch" is that you are supposed to declare such items for tax purposes and can be fined if caught. Having used them before, I can say they are totally not a scam, but they might not be providing exactly what you are looking for in cigarette taste.

u people r scared 2 death !! ! ! I’m from Boston, here’s the deal. our U.S. company’s send over the tobacco. they, European or Russian cigarette company’s roll em up & box em, they use the American brand name, but have Russian writing on the box. some people say they taste weaker, the reason for this is over there they don’t have to use fire-retardant chemicals, or any other CHEMICALS that good ole USA puts in ours. Yeah they taste a little weaker, but that’s cause we are so use to the chemicals, you don’t know what a cigarette’s suppose to taste like. Now here’s the worst part…the *** government wants all our tax $ $ $ $ ,so if your order gets dog sniffed at the post office, BANG, GONE,sent back! ! ! the company’s will try & work with you,but as i been trying to tell these company’s,stop the 3 send them , 1 shot,U.P.S. ,or fed ex……at 9.60 $ per, they gotta guarantee delivery .

It looks like a scam to me. If it’s too good to be true, it probably is. It also doesn’t make sense that Marlboros would be cheaper after being exported from the US.

If you go to their friendly sites the layout is almost the exact same. The web site addresss is suspiciously similar as well… smokin4free.com & smokinforfree.com. The prices on each site are slightly different to try and mask their similarities. Sorry it is too good to be true.
