My car’s wheel is bent from accident, how much will it cost to replace?
I recently got into an accident. While I have some dents on my car, I'm not focusing on those right now. I'm concerned about the rear right wheel, which is bent inwards (the top of the wheel is tilted towards the car). This damage has left the vehicle in a condition where I can't drive it above 5 miles per hour. Can someone help me identify what the issue might be and provide an estimate of the replacement cost? Since I will have to cover this expense out of pocket, a rough estimate would be greatly appreciated. To clarify, the accident was my fault, and I only have liability insurance, so I won't have coverage for repairs.

If the top of the wheel appears to be bent in all the time, then it is not the wheel that is bent, but instead it is either part of the frame and/or suspension member. Audi parts are not cheap and I do not know if it has twin a-arm or struts. Twin a-arms might take a new a-arm and these run 150 dollars on up depending on if used parts, new parts or factory replacements are used.
Now if the wheel wobbles because the bent portion rotates a rim can be found in salvage yards for about 50 dollars and the tire will have to be remounted if it is still usable. It might not be if you drive very far with this condition.
You might need both or it could be much worse because the car uses struts and the uni-body is bent. The damage might be so bad that with it being a ten year old car, that it will be written off by the insurance company.
From your description, it sounds like a write off (as in totalled) and not worth fixing.
How much work to repair your car depends on what kind of car it is. If it has rear wheel drive, I’d say the hub on the end of the axle is bent and that axle must be replaced. A used axel from salvage will do, but a new bearing will be needed on it. It’s possible there’s more damage. None of us can see anything, so don’t expect any better info than this.
FWD or RWD? The make and model of the car makes a lot of difference here. Is the wheel bent or the axle? Or suspension? IF frame the car could be beyond repair.
