what does chuppa rustam mean?

My Indian friend referred to me as a "chuppa rustam" today. When I asked him to elaborate, he didn’t give me a clear answer. We have a good friendship, but I can’t shake the feeling that this phrase might be teasing in nature. If he is teasing me, I plan to give him a bit of playful payback! I previously asked this question on Yahoo Answers but didn’t receive adequate responses. I'm unsure how to engage further with the person who answered, so I’m reposting here on Yahoo Answers India. Could anyone clarify what "chuppa rustam" means and whether it has any humorous or teasing connotations? Thank you!

My interpretation of Chhupa Rustam is like the English saying, 'A Dark Horse'. This in-turn means, a person who does not tell other people about their ideas or skills and who surprises people by doing something that they do not expect.

it's Chhupa Rustam and that's an old hindi movie, the main actor plays a triple role and one of his name's Chhupa Rustam, I haven't seen the movie yet, but I guess it has something to do with the character.
