what happens after you eat a alka seltzer by its self and no water?
What happens if you take an Alka-Seltzer tablet without water? Just curious, but I’m too relaxed (or lazy) to get up and grab some water.

It stings your tongue. It's gross and you'll puke and gag.
Unlazy yourself and get water.
As you chew the Alka Seltzer, the saliva in your moth will cause it to foam up. You'll look like a rabid dog. It will have a little bitterness in the taste. If you swallowed it whole, then it would start foaming up in your stomach. You would then start to feel full; sort of like when you eat a lot of ice cream and then drink Coke (it will start foaming in your stomach, like a coke float). Don't worry, you won't blow up, but you may bletch like nobodies business.
I do it all the time. Let it rest on your tongue and let it foam away. It's bitter but imho it's faster acting that way. After you do it a couple of times you won't even worry about needing water....

I gave one to a friend once and forgot to tell him about putting it in water.. I turned around to see him running to the kitchen puking foam lol, it was quite entertaining.
