you can get sick if they had any diseases or viruses in them… it depends on how they were handled through the process of slaughter, shipping (kept on ice or not), and how the grocery store handled them, and finally how you handled them. If you get sick between now and a week it could be due to a foodborne illness.

You may get sick and experience symptoms of food poisoning. Turkey is one of the meats that you would ideally want to have an internal temp of about 165 F to be considered safely cooked in order to kill any bacteria; this is especially important with ground meat rather than a cut of meat because bacteria will tend to be on the surface of any meat, rather than on the inside; but with ground meat, any potential bacteria will be evenly ground throughout the meat. This is probably why the USDA will have warnings about eating undercooked meat; not so much for steaks that are cooked rare or medium rare, but probably more for the burgers with ground meat.

besides getting a bad tummy ache and might be sick it will give you salmonella you are a right burk aren’t you who ever thought you would think of doing a silly thing like that even if you were hungry.

u’d probably get ill. so if in doubt overcook them

well, it could have salmonella and you could get violently ill… there’s no guarantee….
